Privacy Policy

1. The Guest acknowledges that the Guesthouse is required by law to collect and securely store their personal information, including details of accompanying family members and visitors, for the purpose of processing bookings and delivering services. This information will only be used to fulfill the obligations related to the booking.

2. If personal information is to be used for any purpose other than originally intended, the concerned party must provide explicit written consent before such processing takes place.

3. Both parties agree to adhere to all relevant data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act of 2013 ("POPIA"). By accepting these terms, the Guest consents to the Guesthouse collecting, storing, and using their personal information to provide the requested services.

4. The Guesthouse will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies regarding the safeguarding, management, storage, processing, retention, and lawful disposal of personal data.

5. Personal information obtained through bookings will not be sold, offered for sale, transferred, or subjected to any form of encumbrance.

6. The Guesthouse does not retain or store credit card details.

7. Guests are responsible for providing complete and accurate information at the time of booking and must update their details if any changes occur. The Guesthouse will rely on the accuracy of the information provided.

8. Any concerns or complaints regarding the Privacy Policy can be directed to info@greystonesbeachhouse.co.za 

9. In the event of a dispute, the issue must first be formally communicated in writing to the other party, allowing a response and resolution within 14 days from the date of notice. Legal proceedings may only be initiated if the dispute remains unresolved, except in cases requiring urgent legal intervention. The Parties agree to the jurisdiction of the High Court, Western Cape Division, Cape Town. Except as stated, the Guesthouse does not participate in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
